Marathon of Britain, was 175 mile, 6 day event making it the longest foot race in the world.
A three person team was fielded by Teach Africa, myself, Tim Ellwood and Sarah Geddes, who on 21st December, 2007 became Sarah Ellwood - Congratulations to Tim and Sarah.
It was every bit as tough as expected, the 56 mile day proving particularly challenging. But the team held up well, Tim finishing a brilliant 5th, Sarah 14th and Me 17th. In addition we also won the team prize for our club Wellingborough and District AC.
The charity was also a winner as a total of more than £4000 was raised by the team and nearly £500 at the gala dinner.
